Review: Lotus Spa High Tea House, Swan Lake Gardens

After seeing your advertisement and looking at your website, I was intrigued, therefore my daughter and I took a drive over to Cashmere to look at the gardens and were stunned to find the most amazing oasis and spectacular gardens that we have seen!

We decided to go back for an evening meal during the following week and we were blown away by the top-notch hospitality and amazing food. The serving of different teas both before and after the meals were a real treat.

We will definitely be back, the service was first class. I am recommending Swan Lake @ Cashmere to my family, friends and work colleagues!

I must say that we had the most amazing experiance right from the start!

It was time for a total de-stress massage after a busy few months so I booked a double massage for a friend visiting from Australia and myself on a Friday evening. I have had the privilege of enjoying some lovely massages in a variety of countries and the marketing suggested that this would equal if not surpass any of these we arrived without any predetermined expectations.

How wonderful it was to then be greeted in such a relaxed lounge, and taken through to the massage room, the candles, aromatherapy and environment immediately began the relax process. The massage that followed can only be described as sensational! If I could recommend to anyone an indulgent way to release some stress and relax with a professional experienced masseuse then please book in with the therapists at Swan Lake and prepare to be pampered. The surroundings, the treatment, and the feeling of complete relaxation is something that I will most certainly be doing again.

One of the best! (oh and my australian friend ..? insists on us booking ahead to do it again next time she comes over)

Having enjoyed a pedicure at Lotus @ Siam, I can unequivocally recommend the experience.

The pedicure surpassed any other I have had. The service is friendly and Linda is highly professional and skilled at her job. It is a relaxing, enjoyable experience right down to the choice of nail polish expertly applied.

The cost is reasonable and the surroundings beautiful. I cannot praise Lotus @ Siam, Swan Lake too highly.

I was very privileged to lead a garden tour of the Christchurch award-winning gardens for the Centaurus Combined Probus [ 64 people !] on February 16th, 2010. We were picked up from the Cashmere Club and ferried in their Limousines to Swan Lake.

Our Club members were quite literally blown away by the Limos, the Thai Healthcare Spa & Beauty, the mansion [upstairs and downstairs ] and finally the beautiful lake and fabulous gardens, [including the waterfall and the delightful water-wheel]

We will be back again many more times in the future as I am sure the garden will become more beautiful still as it matures and become the Mona Vale at Cashmere!

To all who read this; I am a Korean New Zealander and have lived in Christchurch for eight years, recently I had the opportunity of visiting Swan Lake @ Cashmere.

What a lovely surprise, a small paradise in the garden city of New Zealand. There were actually big beautiful White Swans in a small lake surrounded by a landscape of wonderful flowers.

As an extra treat at the associated Lotus @ Siam I experienced a Traditional Thai Massage from a most experience Massage Therapist named Joy. Her skills in massage and her gentleness in application are most relaxing and therapeutic. I must say it was the best massage I have ever experienced.

Most Koreans enjoy Spa massage particularly Thai Traditional Massage and I would highly recommend to all Asians that a visit to Swan Lake at Cashmere and a Thai Massage at Lotus @ Siam is a unique and unforgettable delight.

The management is to be complimented on choosing Joy as their Massage Therapist.

Swan Lake is a real find ! I travel extensively and have been massaged in many cities of the world. In comparison Swan Lake comes out very favourably. I would describe my visit as an experience .

From the start the beautiful gardens and approach induced peace. I was warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel welcome. Form filling was left until later when I was accompanied to the massage centre which is beautifully appointed Thai style and once again very welcoming.

Joy, new from Thailand, did my massage. The massage she gave was amazing. Her knowledge of the human form left me in no doubt that she was an expert but more importantly that she really cared for my body. Not only was the massage fantastic but I found the prices to be more than competitive.

I highly reccommend a visit to Swan Lake. You will be well cared for.

From the moment I walked through the gates of Swan Lake I felt relaxed. Admiring the beautiful garden and the swans on the lake as I meandered up the path, I was transferred into another world, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It was a pleasure to relax in the spa overlooking the lavender garden and enjoy being pampered. My feet felt so soft after a massage and being dipped in lovely warm paraffin. The girls in the spa were very friendly and my manicure was conducted with such professionalism and I was amazed how quickly Linda painted my nails, complete with little flowers.

The ambience at Swan Lake is second to none, it is definitely worth a visit and I can understand why people make another appointment on their way out. You cannot help but feel relaxed and pampered after a visit to Swan Lake.

My experience at Lotus @ Siam was incredibly peaceful. The pain I have grown used to in my back and neck was simply washed away at the hands of the obviously highly experienced staff. I was astounded at Joy s knowledge of the human body, I would recommend her to absolutely anyone and I hope to be back for another visit soon. I often found myself fighting to stay awake as the massage was so soothing, not to mention the beautiful Thai atmosphere, the music and just the feel of the rooms are perfect for taking you away from your daily stresses for the length of your stay.
